CRSI has an exciting opportunity for a professional to assist senior staff in coordinating all CRSI Technical and Standard’s Development Committee activities; Serve as a CRSI staff liaison to internal CRSI technical committees; Assist in the development of design guides and tech notes; Potential growth opportunities to oversee CRSI Epoxy Certification Program and represent CRSI on technical committees of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), ASTM International, and the American Welding Society (AWS).

Position Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Staff (50%) Assist senior staff in coordinating all CRSI Technical and Standard’s Development Committee activities; Serve as a CRSI staff liaison to internal CRSI technical committees; Assist in the development of design guides and tech notes.
• Assist CRSI staff liaisons to external technical committees (20%) Interfacing with and becoming members of national relevant code committees to represent the interests of CRSI members involved in the reinforced concrete industry.
• Assist with administration for CRSI’s certification programs (30%), including interfacing with certified plants and the third-party inspection agency on a regular basis as well as promoting the programs to prospective plants and agencies that may require them.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science
• Experience of 5+ years in civil engineering, materials or structural
• PE license preferred; ability to obtain PE license required
• Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information in an easy to understand, compelling, and engaging manner for 1:1 audiences and presentations
• Excellent project and time management skills
• A positive attitude, working well both in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
