What We Are Seeking:
For the position of Technical Sales Engineer, CAST CONNEX is seeking an exceptional candidate with proven outstanding technical capabilities; demonstrated talent in verbal, visual, and written communication; an appreciation for optimization of performance and elegance in structure and architecture.
Candidate will have experience providing presentations and/or teaching. The ideal candidate will have experience providing presentations and/or teaching in engineering, science, or architecture.
The successful candidate will be collegial and confident; will be motivated to manage their time requiring flexibility and organization; will listen, share, and collaborate effectively with the team; and will engage clients as a peer and solutions specialist.
You will be our first presence in your city, joining our growing US-based Technical Sales team.
You will travel to meet with and present to AEC professionals at their offices and at conferences throughout the US.
You will take part in both the conceptual design as well as the successful incorporation of steel castings into projects various scales and in multiple sectors.
You will be the point of contact for designers in early stages of projects and see them through to completion of construction documents, providing technical resources and assistance throughout the design process.
You will support our fabrication customers in construction from tender to completion of construction.
You will have great responsibility and great respect as a valued member of our team.
Remuneration: Competitive base salary with commission, medical, dental, 401K matching

Bachelors in Structural Engineering or other technical field relevant to the AEC industry.
5-10+ years professional experience in engineering, construction, or related field. Note: Candidates holding a Master or Doctorate in engineering or related field are not held to this requirement.
Advanced Degree in engineering, architecture, or related field
Professional Engineer Licensure and/or other relevant certifications
Active member of Professional organizations within the AEC industry
Proven ability in self-starting and self-management
Dexterity with US Building codes including: AISC 360, AISC 342, ASCE 7, AWS, IBC, AASHTO
Competency with 2D and 3D CAD, BIM and FEA platforms
Experience in steel fabrication, foundry work, or construction; teaching experience.
