Responsibilities:

Rooftop Structural Analysis and Design:

Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design of rooftop structures, ensuring they meet all safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Generate detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Code Compliance and Permitting:

Stay updated on local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards applicable to commercial rooftop projects in Illinois.
Prepare and submit permit applications, and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed.

Risk Assessment and Problem Solving:

Identify potential structural challenges and propose innovative solutions to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports, documentation, and project deliverables.
Maintain organized records of all engineering calculations, drawings, and correspondence.
