Structural Engineer
CDS Engineering is a consulting engineering firm specializing in work for industrial and manufacturing companies. CDS is staffed with senior personnel, each with extensive project and design experience to provide a wide range of services from material handling engineering to mechanical/structural and 3D design. CDS’s clients include several of the St. Louis region’s largest industrial companies, as well as clients located nationwide.
We seek a structural engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The industrial sector provides ample opportunities to challenge engineers to develop creative structural solutions. We are a smaller firm that provides a close knit atmosphere and an environment to grow as a structural engineer as you work through the unique designs required in the industrial and manufacturing client sector. The responsibilities for this position include all calculations, analysis models, 3D modeling, and construction drawing production. Some limited overnight travel (<5%) may be required.
B.S. in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering (required)
PE license (required)
M.S. in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering (preferred)
Significant experience in Revit and STAAD 3D (preferred)
SE license (plus)
