SE Exam Refresher Course

About the Refresher Course

The SEAOI SE Exam Refresher Course was started in the mid 1960s by Dr. Robert Gerstner, a professor at the University of Illinois and past president of the SEAOI. To this day, the course is the longest-running and one of the most comprehensive review programs designed to prepare candidates for the NCEES SE (PE Structural) Exam.

The course provides a structured method for the review of material that would reasonably be expected to be on the SE Exam, covering a wide range of areas of structural engineering analysis, design, and loading requirements. The course is organized to align with the NCEES SE Exam Depth and Breadth specifications for Lateral and Vertical, with a focus on the Building Depth track, emphasizes problem solving, and encourages questions from and discussion with attendees.

Our highly experienced instructors have backgrounds in practice and academia, with a strong understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
