Recent Graduate New Member Promotion

Have you graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD with a focus on Structural Engineering within the past two years? Would you like to get more involved with Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI)? If so, SEAOI is pleased to offer a subsidized member rate of $81.50 (normally $163) for the first two years of Associate-level membership.

You must participate in at least 3 SEAOI events during your first year of membership in order to be eligible for the discount again in your second year.

SEAOI has several resources for college and university students pursuing a career in Structural Engineering.

Become a student member of SEAOI.  Benefits of membership include special student rates on education and events, access to SEAOI members and more!  You can join online; we will request a copy of your student ID.

The Structural Engineers Foundation (SEF) holds an annual scholarship competition.  Scholarships of $3,000 are awarded in up to six categories.  The application process opens in late January, and completed applications are due in April.

SEAOI has student chapters at UIUC, UIC, and IIT.
