15th Annual SEAOI Structures Symposium

The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois is delighted to offer with the 15th Annual Structures Symposium, which provides a forum for engineers to share analysis, design, and construction information from recent projects in Illinois and across the nation with unique and/or distinguishing characteristics. Attendance typically represents a diverse cross-section of all aspects of the profession, including design, construction management, material suppliers, academia, general contracting, and owners’ representatives.

Call for Abstracts - Closes July 21st, 2025

Use this form to submit an abstract for a 30 minute presentation at the 2025 SEAOI Structures Symposium, which will be held on September 16th at The Franklin in Chicago, IL.

Abstract Requirement

- This form must be completed in full and returned by July 21, 2025.

Abstract Review Criteria

  • Innovation: presentations should highlight new or innovative tools, methods, or services relevant to the structural engineering industry.
  • Approach: including definition of the problem, execution, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Clarity: the concept and expression should be clear and concise.
  • Learning Objectives (at least three)
  • Speakers will be notified of abstract acceptance by mid-September.
