The SEAOI Annual Bridge Symposium provides a forum for engineers to share analysis, design, and construction information from recent projects with unique and/or distinguishing characteristics. Attendance typically represents a diverse cross-section of all aspects of the profession, including design, construction management, material suppliers, academia, general contracting, and owners’ representatives.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit an abstract for a 30-minute (includes time for Q&A) OR 8-minute Pearl presentation at the 2025 SEAOI Bridge Symposium, which will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Old Post Office in Chicago, IL.
Abstract Requirement
- This form must be completed in full and returned by January 6, 2025.
Abstract Review Criteria
1. Clarity: the thought, expression, and concept should be comprehensible.
2. Approach: including definition of the problem, hypothesis, methodology, application, results, and analysis
3. Practice of Structural Engineering: should bridge the gap between theory, challenges and solution
4. Originality: should report preliminary or novel results

Speakers will be notified of abstract acceptance in early March.
Speakers will be provided with required guidelines after acceptance of abstract. One speaker per 30-minute presentation will receive free registration to the event. Pearl Presenters do not receive free registration.
